APRIL 14 — The Utah Music Teachers Association (UMTA) will present a recital featuring the first-place winners of their concerto competition in the Assembly Hall at 7:30 p.m.
APRIL 16 — A "Families Making Music" concert, featuring the Lund Family Strings, will take place in the Assembly Hall at 7:30 p.m. Twelve musicians will alternate between solo and ensemble pieces including pieces by Vivaldi, Bach, Rachmaninoff, Borodin and others.
APRIL 17 — The Utah Baroque Ensemble, under the direction of Martha Sargent, will share a sacred program in the Assembly Hall at 7:30 p.m. featuring a cantata by Johann Sebastian Bach taken from Psalm 25, three Psalm settings by David H. Sargent, and other spiritual or sacred selections.
APRIL 29 — A Celebration of Family History, hosted by President Henry B. Eyring and featuring David McCullough, will be held in the Conference Center Auditorium at 7 p.m. Tickets are required for this event and can be obtained by visiting lds.org/events or by calling 570-0080.
DAILY — Free guided tours of Temple Square and the Conference Center are available from 9 a.m.-9 p.m. To arrange a tour of Temple Square, please call 801-240-4872. To arrange a tour of the Conference Center, please call 801-240-0075.
DAILY — Organists perform 30-minute recitals in the Tabernacle at noon Mondays through Saturdays and at 2 p.m. on Sundays.
SUNDAYS — "Music and the Spoken Word," featuring the Mormon Tabernacle Choir, will be broadcast at 9:30 a.m. in the Tabernacle. Please be seated by 9:15 a.m.
