The following are new members of the Sunday School General Board.
Omar Canals, 62, Westland 9th Ward, West Jordan Utah Westland Stake; son of Jacobo Canals and Mercedes Rodriguez de Canals; married Beatriz Belhot; translator/interpreter, international audiovisual specialist for the Church; served as president of Colombia Bogata Mission, high councilor, high priests group leader, Sunday School teacher.
Ann Madsen, 76, Pleasant View 1st Ward, Provo Utah Sharon East Stake; daughter of Barnard J. and Berenice Larsen Nicholls; married Truman Madsen (deceased); master's degree in ancient studies from BYU; homemaker, professor of ancient scripture at BYU, Isaiah scholar, poetess; former stake Relief Society president, gospel doctrine teacher.
Lee Tom Perry, 59, Canyon View 4th Ward, Orem Utah Canyon View Stake; son of L. Tom and Virginia Clare Lee Perry; married Carolyn Bench; doctorate in administrative services from Yale University; master's in organizational behavior and bachelor's in university studies from BYU; professor of organizational leadership and strategy at BYU; former president of California Roseville Mission, stake president and counselor in stake presidency, high councilor, bishop and gospel doctrine teacher, missionary in California Roseville Mission.
Amy White, 60, Hyde Park 4th Ward, Hyde Park Utah Stake; daughter of Paul S. and Ruth Felt Howells; married Karl R. White; bachelor's degree from University of Utah; homemaker; former ward Relief Society president, gospel doctrine teacher, Sunday School teacher of high-school-aged youth, missionary in Italy.
Karl R. White, 59, Hyde Park 4th Ward, Hyde Park Utah Stake; son of Raymond Hamilton and Marietta White; married Amy Howells; bachelor's degree from BYU, master's and doctorate from University of Colorado; professor of psychology and special education at Utah State University; former bishop, high councilor, elders quorum president, gospel doctrine teacher, missionary in Germany.
Brad Wilcox, 49, Grandview 9th Ward, Provo Utah Grandview Stake; son of Ray Taylor and Valene Camenish Wilcox; married Deborah G. Gunnell; doctorate in curriculum and instruction from University of Wyoming, bachelor's in education and master's in teaching and learning from BYU; associate professor in the BYU Department of Teacher Education; former president of Chile Santiago East Mission, bishop, member of ward Young Men presidency, ward mission leader, Cub Scout leader, missionary in Chile Viña del Mar Mission.
