Walter H. Kindt, 85, who presided over the Central German Mission 1969-1970 and the Germany Central Mission from 1970-72 (later became the Duesseldorf Germany Mission), and who served as a regional representative and temple sealer, died Aug. 15, 2010 in Greendale, Wisconsin.

Brother Kindt was born Nov. 15, 1923 in Schneidemuhl, Germany. After World War II, Brother Kindt served as a young missionary for five years in East Germany. Brother Kindt emigrated from Germany to the United States in 1952 and later returned to Germany to serve as mission president with his wife, Rose.
