David J. and Pauline H. Davis

David Jonathan Davis, 60, Klamath Falls 4th Ward, Klamath Falls Oregon Stake, called as president of the Medford Oregon Temple, succeeding President Edward E. Hanson. President Davis' wife, Pauline Hatch Davis, will serve as temple matron. Recently released as the president of the Peru Arequipa Mission, he has served as a regional welfare agent, stake president, stake president's counselor and bishop. A retired superintendent of the Klamath County School District, he was born in Salt Lake City, Utah, to David J. and Norma Marie Browning Davis.

Sister Davis served with her husband as he presided over the Peru Arequipa Mission. She has also served as a counselor in stake Relief Society and Young Women presidencies and as a ward Relief Society, Young Women, and Primary president. She was born in Lordsburg, N.M., to Harvey Hugh and Vanita Karen Pace Hatch.
