Melvin and Faye Schwendiman were married 70 years ago, on Sept. 12, 1940, in the Salt Lake Temple. They are members of the Newdale Ward, Sugar City Idaho Stake. They are the parents of four children and have eight grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
L.K. and Mary Mae Cottam Abbott were married 70 years ago, on Sept. 25, 1940, in the St. George Utah Temple. They are members of the St. George Utah 6th Ward, St. George Utah East Stake. They are the parents of two children and have eight grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
