Eight new visitors' center directors and their wives have been called by the First Presidency. They will begin service in January 2011.
Richard Lenn Adams, 67, and Cheryl Ann Sandberg Adams, four children, Independence Visitors Center; Burch Creek 4th Ward, Ogden Utah Burch Creek Stake. Brother Adams is a former president of the Nigeria Port Harcourt Mission, high priest group leader, bishop, ward Young Men secretary and Church humanitarian service missionary in the Welfare Services Department and in the Russia Rostov Mission. Retired item manager for Hill Air Force Base. Born in Ogden, Utah, to Leonard Wood and Bessie Bernice Blair Adams.
Sister Adams served with her husband in the Nigeria Port Harcourt Mission and is a former ward Relief Society president, counselor in a ward Primary presidency, ward music chairman, ward Relief Society teacher and Church humanitarian service missionary with her husband in the Welfare Services Department and in the Russia Rostov Mission. Born in Salt Lake City, Utah, to O. Kenneth and Maurine Johansen Sandberg.
Thomas Bow Brighton, III, 68, and Linda Elizabeth Paaso Brighton, five children, Oakland California Temple Visitors Center; Mount Loafer Ward, Salem Utah Stake. Brother Brighton is a former president of the Ireland Dublin Mission, high councilor, counselor in a stake presidency and in the Hill Cumorah Pageant presidency, bishop, Church-service missionary, and missionary in the Scottish Irish Mission. Retired independent packaging consultant. Born in Melrose Park, Ill., to Kenneth W. and Florence Elizabeth Thody Brighton.
Sister Brighton served with her husband in the Ireland Dublin Mission and is a former ward Relief Society President and teacher, ward Primary president and teacher, Hill Cumorah Pageant Relief Society president and Church-service missionary with her husband. Born in Fort Lewis, Washington to Sulo and Margaret Elizabeth Corrigan Paaso.
LaDell L. Dye, 66, and Mary Ellen Richards Dye, four children, Cove Fort (Utah) Historic Site; Westland 1st Ward, West Jordan Utah Westland Stake. Brother Dye is a Church-service missionary and is a former counselor in a stake presidency, bishop, high councilor, high priest group leader, stake young single adult counselor and Scoutmaster. Retired production department manager, Varian Medical Systems. Born in Neola, Utah, to DeLoss and Eva Malnar Dye.
Sister Dye serves as a Church-service missionary with her husband and is a former stake young single adult counselor, ward Primary president, ward Relief Society president, and ward and stake Relief Society secretary. Born in Roosevelt, Utah, to Thomas Andrew and Pattie Lurrine Thacker Richards.
W. Brent Edman, 70, and Ellen Kay Choules Edman, seven children, Historic Kirtland Visitors Center; Corner Canyon 7th Ward, Draper Utah Corner Canyon Stake. Brother Edman is a former president of the Provo Missionary Training Center, president of the Georgia Atlanta Mission, Young Men General Board member, high councilor, stake Young Men president, bishop, ward Young Men president, and Church-service missionary. Specialist and owner, Miracle Ear. Born in Salt Lake City, Utah, to E. Wilford and Erma Amy Towler Edman.

Born in Driggs, Idaho, to George and Ruby Hardy Choules.
Judd Delahay Morgan, 70, and Pauline Thornton Morgan, five children, St. George Utah Temple Visitors Center; River View 6th Ward, Draper Utah River View Stake. Brother Morgan serves as a gospel doctrine teacher and is a former president of the Canada Winnipeg Mission, bishop and counselor, high priest group leader, gospel essentials teacher, ward activities committee chairman, and missionary in the Brazilian South Mission. Retired Interim President, Salt Lake Community College. Born in Nephi, Utah, to Fred Delahay and Ora Lucille Judd Morgan.
Sister Morgan served with her husband in the Canada Winnipeg Mission and is a former stake Relief Society secretary, ward Relief Society president, ward Young Women president, ward Relief Society teacher, ward service and activities committee chairman, and gospel essentials teacher. Born in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Virl William and Vera Maxine Poulsen Thornton.
Don Harold Olsen, 64, and Lucille Davies Olsen, three children, Washington DC Temple Visitors Center; Draper 17th Ward, Sandy Utah Hidden Valley Stake. Brother Olsen is a former high councilor, bishop's counselor, elders quorum president, ward Young Men adviser and gospel doctrine teacher. Retired business consultant and senior vice President of the Huntsman Corporation. Born in Montpelier, Idaho, to Harold James and Lavera Marjorie Lockman Olsen.
Sister Olsen is a former counselor in a stake Relief Society presidency and Primary presidency, ward Relief Society president and counselor, ward Primary president, ward Relief Society teacher, ward Primary teacher, and gospel doctrine teacher. Born in Provo, Utah, to LaVar H. and Lorraine Riley Davies.
Brian Edward Schuck, 67, and Trelva Ardelle Johnson Schuck, six children, Joseph Smith Birthplace Memorial Historic Site (at Sharon, Vt.); Valley View Ward, Rexburg Idaho East Stake. Brother Schuck is a former president of the Argentina Bahia Blanca Mission, stake president, high councilor and Church-service missionary. Retired general partner. Born in El Paso, Texas, to George Edward and Leora Peterson Schuck.
Sister Schuck served with her husband in the Argentina Bahia Blanca Mission and is a former ward Relief Society president, ward Relief Society teacher, temple ordinance worker, ward Relief Society compassionate service leader, counselor in a ward Primary presidency, seminary teacher, and family record extraction program chairman. Born in Marysville, Calif., to James Clifford and Grace Wilson Johnson.

Brother Watson is a former high councilor, high priest group leader, stake Young Men president, counselor in a bishopric, ward Young Men president, ward young single adult leader and missionary in the Scottish-Irish Mission. Retired president and CEO, Ethan Allen of Utah. Born in Salt Lake City, Utah, to John Francis and Edythe Kimball Watson.
Sister Watson is a former ward and stake Young Women president, stake Primary board member, ward Relief Society president and counselor, and ward family history consultant. Born in Oxnard, Calif., to Mark Cummings and Zelda Lafawn Gee Brown.
