New Stakes
Two new stakes have been created.
A new stake has been created from the Guam District. The Barrigada Guam Stake, which includes the Barrigada, Dededo, Saipan, Talisay and Yigo wards, has been created by Elder L. Tom Perry of the Quorum of the Twelve.
A new stake has been created from the Maracaibo Venezuela South Stake. The San Francisco Venezuela Stake, which includes the Bolivar, El Caujaro, El Sol, La Cañada, San Francisco, Unión and Veinticuatro de Julio wards, has been created by Elder Marcus B. Nash of the Seventy.
BARRIGADA GUAM STAKE: (Dec. 14, 2010) President — Arthur Boyd Clark, 46, partner with Calvo & Clark, Attorneys at Law; wife, Joy Lee Yamamoto Clark. Counselors — Tamio Shimojo Clark, 51, principal broker; wife, Kazuko Igarashi Clark. Jared Warren Bodine, 31, MM/ICS supervisor for the Church; wife, Ngoc Thi Minh Bodine.
SAN FRANCISCO VENEZUELA STAKE: (Dec. 11, 2010) President — José Gregorio Cañizales, 40, eyeglass frame distributor; wife, Yumaira Coromoto Daboin Cañizales.
