Brigham Young University-Idaho welcomes the public to an open house for the new BYU-Idaho Center and the expanded Hyrum Manwaring Student Center on Thursday, Feb. 3, from 4 to 8 p.m.

Visitors are invited to take part in guided tours that will begin every 15 minutes until 7:30 p.m. on the main level of the BYU-Idaho Center. Guests will also be welcome to tour the buildings on their own.

The Crossroads food court and University Store will extend their hours to 8 p.m. Free refreshments will be served in the Manwaring Center.

The BYU–Idaho Center features a 15,000-seat auditorium for devotionals, graduations, and other gatherings, and a multi-purpose gymnasium with 10 sport courts and a suspended indoor jogging track. In addition to athletic activities, the multi-use area will be used for service projects, employee gatherings, ecclesiastical meetings, academic projects, and a variety of other university needs. A skybridge connects the BYU-Idaho Center and the John W. Hart Building.

The remodeled Manwaring Center features a new University Store, a renovated and expanded food court, a new convenience store, dance studio suite, and space for the Activities Program. Construction also included a skybridge that connects the Manwaring Center to the David O. McKay Library.
