REXBURG, Idaho ญญญ— Brigham Young University-Idaho has announced a 3.27 percent tuition increase for the 2011-2012 school year, reflecting the ongoing increase in costs to the university.

“BYU-Idaho strives very hard to keep education affordable,” said budget officer Larry Rigby. “Our low tuition rate reflects the support and priority The Church Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints gives to learning.”

During the 2010–2011 school year, Latter-day Saint students paid $1,680 per semester. Tuition will increase to $1,735, beginning Fall Semester 2011.
