SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS

Several hundred Latter-day Saint Texans gathered April 9 for "LDS Night with the San Antonio Spurs" professional basketball team.

A combined choir of elders and sisters from the Texas San Antonio Mission sang the national anthem prior to the game between the Spurs and the Utah Jazz.

And as part of the halftime ceremonies, a group of San Antonio members presented former Spurs star Sean Elliott with a framed, poster-size family tree. "It'll be something I'll cherish," Mr. Elliott told the San Antonio Express News. "I'll hang it somewhere to display."
