Trudy W. Beck, 61, Federal Heights Ward, Salt Lake Emigration Stake; born in Uhingen, Germany, to Friedrich G. & Gertrud Weixler; married James C. Beck, five children; graduated from Brigham Young University in environmental design with an emphasis in interior design; former Relief Society president, stake Young Women president, Primary president and stake Primary counselor, and served with her husband while he presided over the California Oakland Mission.
Elizabeth Ann Takasaki, 58, Crosswinds 2nd Ward, Spanish Fork Utah East Stake; born in Richfield, Utah, to Charles Ichiro and Bessie Murakami Inouye; married Roman Y. Takasaki, three children; received bachelors degrees from Brigham Young University in dance and English; former stake Young Women president, Relief Society president, Primary president, and full-time missionary in the Japan Sendai Mission and she and her husband also served as stake and ward Young Single Adult leaders.
