Severia Baunchand, 66, Zachary Ward, Denham Springs Louisiana Stake, called as president of the Baton Rouge Louisiana Temple, succeeding President Max P. Brough. President Baunchand's wife, Betty Jean Wright Baunchand, will serve as temple matron. Currently serving as a counselor in the Baton Rouge Louisiana Temple presidency, he has served as a stake executive secretary, high councilor and bishop. A retired supervisor with Exxon-Mobil, he was born in Batchelor, La., to Ben and Elizabeth Washington Baunchand Sr.
Sister Baunchand is an assistant to the matron of the Baton Rouge Louisiana Temple. She has served as a stake Relief Society president's counselor, ward Relief Society president and ward Primary president. She was born in Baton Rouge, La., to Dunk and Dorothy Mae Brown Wright Sr.
Stephen George Boyden, 71, Elk Hollow Ward, North Salt Lake Utah Stake, called as president of the Asunción Paraguay Temple, succeeding President David K Udall. President Boyden's wife, Patricia Shumway Boyden, will serve as temple matron. Now a high priest group leader, he has served as the Chile Area executive secretary, president of the Mexico Mexico City North Mission, president of the Spain Missionary Training Center, mission president's counselor, stake president's counselor and bishop. Retired assistant director, Public Land Policy for the State of Utah, he was born in Salt Lake City, Utah, to John Sterling and Orpha Sweeten Boyden.
Sister Boyden is a Sunday School teacher. She served with her husband as he presided over the Mexico Mexico City North Mission and the Spain Missionary Training Center. She previously served as stake Relief Society president's counselor, stake Young Women president and ward Young Women president. She was born in Tremonton, Utah, to John and Mildred Lund Shumway.
Ebbie LaVar Davis, 73, Woodbriar Ward, North Salt Lake Utah Stake, called as president of the Suva Fiji Temple, succeeding President LaRon P. Woolley. President Davis' wife, Linda Suzanna Campbell Davis, will serve as temple matron. A sealer in the Bountiful Utah Temple, he has served as Europe Area executive secretary, president of the Fiji Suva Mission, stake president's counselor, high councilor, bishop and as a temple translation Church-service missionary couple. A retired director of the Church's Scripture and Translation Department, he was born in Las Vegas, Nevada, to Ebbie Henry and Maybelle Hughes Davis.
Sister Davis serves as an ordinance worker in the Bountiful Utah Temple. She previously served with her husband as he presided over the Fiji Suva Mission, and as a senior couple missionary. She has served as a stake Relief Society president's counselor, stake Young Women president, ward Relief Society president, Young Women president and gospel doctrine teacher. She was born in Caliente, Nev., to Linwood W. and Erma Crook Campbell.
