President Boyd K. Packer, president of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles, suffered a brief fainting spell following services for the rededication of the Longfellow Park meetinghouse in Cambridge, Mass. on June 19. He was taken to a nearby hospital where he stayed overnight for observation.
"President Packer is feeling better ... and is grateful for the expression of concern for his well-being," said LDS Church spokesman Scott Trotter, noting that President Packer flew home to Utah after being released from the hospital June 20.
