New Stakes
Five new stakes have been created.
A new stake has been created from the Casa Grande Peru District. The Casa Grande Peru Stake, which includes the Cartavio and Chocope branches and Ascope, Casa Grande, Chiclin, Independencia and Paiján wards, was created by Elder Marcus B. Nash of the Seventy and Elder Fabian Vallejo, an Area Seventy.
A new stake has been created from the Moscow Russia District. The Moscow Russia Stake, which includes the Perovo, Podolsk and Universitetski branches and Arbatskii, Kakhovski, Moscow, Rechnoy, Sokolnicheskii and Zelenogradsky wards, was created by Elder Russell M. Nelson of the Quorum of the Twelve.
A new stake has been created from the Navarrete Dominican Republic District. The Navarrete Dominican Republic Stake, which includes the Sabaneta, Esperanza, Mao 1st, Mao 2nd, Navarette 1st and Navarrete 2nd wards, was created by Elder Wilford W. Andersen of the Seventy and Elder Jorge S. Dominguez, an Area Seventy.
A new stake has been created from the Rio de Janeiro Brazil Stake. The Rio de Janeiro Engenho de Dentro Stake, which includes the Abolicao, Encantado, Engenho de Dentro, Irajá and Ramos wards, was created by Elder Carlos A. Godoy of the Seventy.
A new stake has been created from the Sao Paulo Brazil Taboao Stake. The Sao Paulo Brazil Ferreira Stake, which includes the Ferreira, Giovanni Gronchi, Jardim Maria Rosa, Jardim das Palmas and Vila Andrade wards, was created by Elder Ulisses Soares of the Seventy and Elder Carlos Villanova, an Area Seventy.
