AUG. 16 — Concerts in the Park will feature the Bluegrass band Unstrung performing fiddling tunes at 7:30 p.m. in Brigham Young Historic Park on the corner of State St. and 2nd Ave., Salt Lake City. Admission is free.
AUG. 19 — Concerts in the Park will feature the Steve and Lisa James Family Variety Show at 7:30 p.m. in Brigham Young Historic Park.
AUG. 20 — The Family History Library is offering an all-day series of classes on England Beginning Research and German Research. Classes will run from 9 a.m. to 4:20 p.m. To view a class schedule or obtain more information, go to www.familysearch.org or call 801-240-4950.
AUG. 20 — "The True Story of Cinderella," an oratorio-style retelling of the classic fairy tale, will be performed at 7:30 p.m. in the Assembly Hall.
CONTINUING — Free one-hour garden tours of the gardens surrounding Church headquarters are available Monday through Friday at 10 a.m. at door 15 of the Conference Center or 12 p.m. at the Church Office Building Plaza; Wednesday at 7 p.m. at the Church Office Building Plaza; or Sundays at 10:30 a.m. at the east gate of Temple Square.
