  • 'Conquer the future' — Apostles address members in United Kingdom, Ireland

    Reaching out to others as we "conquer the future" was President Dieter F. Uchtdorf's message to thousands of Church members gathered in meetinghouses across the United Kingdom and Irish Republic as part of multi-stake conference sessions broadcast live via satellite, June 6 and 7.
  • New temple presidents

    Six new temple presidents have been called by the First Presidency, with their wives called as matrons. They will begin service soon.
  • New mission presidents

    Seven new mission presidents and their wives have been called by the First Presidency. They will begin service about July 1, 2009.
  • Angel Moroni takes flight to London Temple

    When 13-year-old Aaron Glover heard in his Bristol England Southmead Ward that a statue of Moroni was being placed on the spire of the London England Temple on Monday, Dec. 15, he "had a warm feeling," and he just knew he "had to be there." His mother got him excused from school, but how he was going to travel the 150 miles to the temple was unresolved.
