Germany Berlin Mission

  • New mission presidents

    Seven new mission presidents and their wives have been called by the First Presidency. They will begin service about July 1.
  • New missions 10 announced in seven areas

    To better align resources and adjust to the ever changing needs of the Church, 10 new missions will be organized in July, while 14 other missions will be combined with neighboring missions. The resulting number of missions will be 340.

    A central European nation divided following World War II and united in October 1990, Germany is predominantly Catholic in the south and Protestant in the north. Prior to the unification of Germany in 1870 under Prussian Chancellor, Otto von Bismarck, there were a multitude of smaller Germanic states in what comprises the Germany of today.
  • New temple presidents

    Four new temple presidents have been called by the First Presidency, with their wives called as matrons. They will begin service soon.
