  • New Visitors Center directors

    The First Presidency has called seven new Visitors Center directors and their wives. They will begin service about Jan. 1, 2010.
  • New temple president

    Alan Snelgrove Layton, 61, Granite Ward, Sandy Utah Granite View Stake, called as president of the new Oquirrh Mountain Utah Temple.
  • New mission presidents

    Seven new mission presidents and their wives have been called by the First Presidency. They will begin their service about July 1, 2009.
  • In Church's 'cradle'

    In western New York, in an area known as the "Cradle of the Restoration," the first converts were the foundation members of a Church that would spread across the earth with nearly 13 million members 177 years later.
