  • New temple presidents

    Six new temple presidents have been called by the First Presidency. Their wives have been called to serve as matrons. They will begin service in January.

    Shortly after Elder Jeffrey Andersen arrived in the Australia Melbourne West Mission, now the Australia Melbourne Mission, he sent home photos of his companion and their apartment and meetinghouse, to help acquaint his mother with his new surroundings and calm her anxious feelings.
  • New missions 10 announced in seven areas

    To better align resources and adjust to the ever changing needs of the Church, 10 new missions will be organized in July, while 14 other missions will be combined with neighboring missions. The resulting number of missions will be 340.
  • New mission presidents

    Seven mission presidents and their wives have been called by the First Presidency to begin their service about July 1.
