  • New temple presidents

    The following have been called to serve as temple presidents and matrons. They will begin their service about Nov. 1. They have been called to a three-year term of service.
  • Hats are made for the homeless

    Members of the Santa Clara 3rd Ward, Eugene Oregon Santa Clara Stake, are making hats and more hats. As a fall service project, they have been crocheting hats for the homeless and needy to be handed out when the weather turns cold. Many members have learned to crochet so they could get involved with this project.
  • Oregon temple is another ensign

    After an extraordinarily long wet season, the sun broke through an overcast sky May 20 as more than 1,000 gathered for the groundbreaking of the Medford Oregon Temple.
  • Six more temples announced; total now 108

    The First Presidency has announced six more temples, to be constructed in Louisville, Ky.; Medford, Ore.; Oklahoma City, Okla.; Adelaide, Australia; Copenhagen, Denmark; and San Jose, Costa Rica.
