Peru Lima South Mission

  • New missions 10 announced in seven areas

    To better align resources and adjust to the ever changing needs of the Church, 10 new missions will be organized in July, while 14 other missions will be combined with neighboring missions. The resulting number of missions will be 340.

    Located on the Pacific Coast side of South America, Peru is a constitutional republic with a population that speaks Spanish, Quechua and Aymara.
  • Peru missionaries beautify homeless shelter

    Missionaries and staff from the Peru Missionary Training Center recently gave service in the community when they cleaned and painted a homeless shelter in downtown Lima.
  • Missionary Training Center presidents

    The First Presidency has called six new Missionary Training Center presidents with their wives. They will begin service about Jan. 1, 2008.
