Puerto Rico San Juan West Mission

  • New missions 10 announced in seven areas

    To better align resources and adjust to the ever changing needs of the Church, 10 new missions will be organized in July, while 14 other missions will be combined with neighboring missions. The resulting number of missions will be 340.

    The easternmost island of the Greater Antilles in the east Caribbean Sea, Puerto Rico is a U.S. commonwealth with a population that speaks Spanish. Most of the people are Roman Catholic.
  • New missions bring total to 347 New missions

    The continued growth of the Church, and the desire for priesthood leaders to further strengthen members and leaders throughout the world, has prompted the creation of new missions in Europe, Africa and the Caribbean, and the realignment of four missions in Japan.
