  • A beautiful smile

    I had been serving for four months in Miri, a part of the Singapore Mission, when I first met Mit anak Entring. Sister Alice Clark and I were assisting the missionaries as they invited a family to be baptized. Mit, a relative of the family, sat down across from me and smiled. It was a familiar smile that I had seen before. Prior to my mission I was a volunteer for a non-profit organization that sends medical teams to developing countries to perform cleft lip and palate surgeries.

  • Malaysia: Students in English class are 'fellow citizens with the saints'

    Students in English classes taught by missionaries here are all recent converts and are members of the Kuala Lumpur Branch in Malaysia. Although they are from many countries, there is a feeling of love and unity among them. They desire to learn how to communicate better. They put aside the small things in their lives such as eating lunch so that they have enough money for the bus fare to attend class, traveling one hour each way, just to learn English.
