    "Veterans Day is a day of remembrance. It is a day to remember all veterans who have served in American wars. All have sacrificed. Some have sacrificed profoundly," said Elder Lance B. Wickman, an emeritus member of the First Quorum of the Seventy, in his keynote address given at the third "Saints at War" conference held in the BYU Conference Center on Friday, Nov. 11.

    Several hundred Latter-day Saint Texans gathered April 9 for "LDS Night with the San Antonio Spurs" professional basketball team.

    Before Elder Chase Jones was called to serve in the Texas San Antonio Mission, he talked with a close friend about the death of 3-month-old sibling in her family. The anguish and tenderness of that death touched Elder Jones, leaving an impression that would supply him with the testimony and insight necessary to aid the faith of another young couple months later on his mission.
