  • Parents, four children on missions

    When Stephen H. Tyler begins service as president of the Peru Lima Central Mission this summer, he and his wife, Donna, will join four of their six children as full-time missionaries.
  • New mission presidents

    Five new mission presidents and their wives have been called by the First Presidency. They will begin service about July 1.
  • Missionary killed in hit-and-run

    Elder Matthew Lawrence Knoop, a missionary in the Brazil Salvador Mission, died April 21 from injuries sustained in a hit-and-run incident a day earlier. Elder Knoop, 20, had been serving in the mission since last August 21.
  • New temple presidents

    Six new leaders hav been called by the First Presidency to serve as temple presidents and temple matrons. They will begin their three-year service on Nov. 1.
