  • New mission presidents

    Six new mission presidents and their wives have been called by the First Presidency. They will begin their service about July 1, 2009.
  • Faithful service

    Elder Earl C. Tingey was released from the Presidency of the Seventy and, along with Elder Sheldon F. Child, was released from the First Quorum of the Seventy. Elder Tingey and Elder Child were designated Emeritus General Authorities.
  • New temple presidents

    Four new temple presidents have been called by the First Presidency, with their wives called as matrons. They will begin service soon.
