  • Dallas temple walk

    As 27 young women set out at 4:30 a.m. to walk from their meetinghouse to the Dallas Texas Temple, leaders were sure the energy and enthusiasm of the goal would wear off.
  • 'A house of glory'

    Although Joseph Smith grew to manhood in a region dotted with village churches, building such meetinghouses for the young Church of Christ was never his objective. Instead he envisioned temples, first the house of the Lord in Kirtland and later others.
  • New temple presidents

    Six new temple presidents have been called by the First Presidency. Their wives have been called to serve as matrons. They will begin service in January.
  • New mission presidents

    Seven new mission presidents and their wives have been called by the First Presidency. They will begin service about July 1.
