  • Honorable releases given to 13 members of the Seventy

    Although no new leaders were added to the Quorums of the Seventy during the Saturday afternoon session of general conference, 13 members quorums were released. Four members of the First Quorum of the Seventy were released and given emeritus status, and nine members of the Second Quorum of the Seventy were released.
  • New temple presidents

    Five new temple presidents have been called by the First Presidency, with their wives called as matrons. They will begin service soon.
  • Work commences on Guatemala temple

    On a lovely spring-like morning, more than 700 Church leaders and other guests were witnesses to the March 14 groundbreaking ceremony at the future site of the Quetzaltenango Guatemala Temple.
  • New mission presidents

    Seven new mission presidents and their wives have been called. They will begin service about July 1.
