New state presidents

Elder H. Burke Peterson of the Seventy created the Kearney Nebraska Stake, which includes the Grand Island 1st, Grand Island 2nd, Hastings, Kearney, and North Platte wards, and the Lexington, McCook, O'Neill, Phillipsburg, and Sutherland branches.

Elder Marlin K. Jensen of the Seventy created the North Ogden Utah Coldwater Stake, which includes the North Ogden 2nd, North Ogden 4th, North Ogden 8th, North Ogden 10th, North Ogden 12th, North Ogden 19th, and North Odgen 22nd wards.Elsewhere, stakes have been reorganized in Bolivia, Japan, Philippines, and in Arizona, Idaho, Nevada, New Mexico and Utah.
