New stake presidencies

Elder Sam K. Shimabukuro of the Seventy has created the Abiko Japan Stake, which includes the Kitasenjyu, Matsudo, Mito, Tsukuba, and Ushiku wards, and the Abiko and Hitachi branches.

Elder M. Russell Ballard of the Council of the Twelve has created the Mesa Arizona Red Mountain Stake, which includes the Citrus Heights, Hermosa Vista, Hillcrest, Princess Park, Red Mountain, Salt River, and Valley View wards.Elsewhere, stakes were reorganized in New Zealand and Japan, and in Arizona, Maryland and Nevada.
