On the bright side

I recently told a story in my ward about the pioneer children - 6 to 9 years of age - walking more than 1,000 miles from Winter Quarters to the Salt Lake Valley.

I asked an 8-year-old boy if he thought he could walk from Preston, Idaho, to Salt Lake City, about 100 miles. He answered, "No, the cars go past our house so fast I would never make it to the corner."
