Jennie Holbrook and Delbert V. Groberg

Married 70 years ago in the Salt Lake Temple on June 11, 1930. They have lived all their married lives in Idaho Falls, Idaho, where he was a real estate and insurance agent, and appraiser. He served as bishop, high councilor, patriarch, and president of the Idaho Falls Temple from 1975-1980. He wrote and published a book about this temple. She served as homemaker and ward Primary president and counselor in the stake Relief Society and Young Women presidencies. She published 11 volumes on the life and works of her grandfather, George H. Brimhall, a former BYU president. They received a BYU presidential citation. Both also served in civic and patriotic activities. Members of the Idaho Falls 16th Ward, Idaho Falls Idaho Stake. Parents of 11 children, they have 63 grandchildren, and 97 great-grandchildren. (Their posterity includes 60 missionaries, three sons and a son-in-law who have been mission presidents and one son, Elder John H. Groberg, who is in the First Quorum of the Seventy.)

Married 70 years ago on May 31, 1930, in Pocatello, Idaho. They lived in St. Anthony, Idaho, for 45 years where he was a store and district manager for Safeway Stores, and he purchased and operated Later's Market. He was also an avid outdoorsman and built a family cabin. She was a skilled homemaker, excelling in cooking and sewing, and enjoys reading. Members of the Ashley Park Ward, Sandy Utah Granite South Stake. Parents of three children (two living), they have 11 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.


Cornell E. and Lois Whitesides Jarman

"Our temple marriage, our desire to live the principles of the gospel and our Church activity have developed an enduring love for each other."

Married June 2, 1930, in the Salt Lake Temple. For the first 10 years of their married lives they lived in Southern California. Then they moved to Berkeley, Calif., where he was an engineer for Shell Development. He served as bishop, high councilor, counselor in the Oakland California Temple presidency, and is currently a temple sealer. She was a cafeteria manager for Berkeley Schools, and served as teacher, librarian, counselor in Primary presidency, temple ordinance worker and women's supervisor in the temple. Members of the Berkeley Ward, Oakland California Stake. Parents of three children, they have 15 grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren.
