Scavenger hunt for good cause

EL PASO, Texas — Youth from the El Paso 5th Ward, El Paso Texas Mount Franklin Stake, went on a scavenger hunt March 13 — collecting more than 200 articles of clothing, 10 cases of canned food, 20 to 30 pounds of rice, baby strollers, diapers and many other types of food and cleaning items. The items were donated to local non-profit organizations.

During the activity the youth were divided into teams and given one hour. To make sure that more than one group didn't go to the same home, they taped a scripture about service on the doors of the houses that they went to. If they saw a scripture on a door, they weren't allowed to go there.

Many community members were impressed to see so many teenagers pursuing a good cause and having a great time.
