261,000 volunteer hours

SALT LAKE CITY — LDS Family Services administrators recognized Church members who volunteer with their organization Feb. 7, praising the efforts of those who collectively gave more than 261,000 volunteer hours during the past year.

"Missionaries and volunteers bring their talents and services that we don't have into LDS Family Services," said commissioner Fred M. Riley during a luncheon in the Church Office Building. "These talents make us better and broader and deeper."

Brother Riley said with the help of the huge volunteer force, LDS Family Services is "blessing lives in ways we could only dream of without you."
