Friends, neighbors join to give service

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Sisters of the Westland Ward, Columbus Ohio Stake, contributed more than 1,000 hours working to provide items for the LDS Humanitarian Center in Salt Lake City. They donated quilts, dolls, skirts, pajamas, hats, blankets, pants, shirts, gowns, bandages, mittens and dresses.

"We are thrilled to see so many participate," said Nancy Messier, ward Relief Society president. "We invited friends, neighbors, spouses and children to give a little something to help someone else. Truly, friendships were strengthened, hearts were warmed, and spirits lifted by all who took the time to serve."
