WASHINGTON The Arthur S. Flemming Awards Commission at George Washington University selected Latter-day Saint U.S. Congressman Rob Bishop, R-Utah, as the keynote speaker for its annual awards presentation June 5. The Flemming Award honors 12 outstanding men and women nationwide, who work for the federal government, for their accomplishments.
Dan Christenson, a branch chief in the Software Engineering Division at Ogden Air Logistics Center, was honored as one of the 12 national winners. Brother Christenson of the Westwood Ward, Clearfield Utah North Stake, was the nominee from the United States Air Force, prior to being selected as a winner for all of the federal government.
