New mission presidents

The following mission presidents and their wives have been called by the First Presidency and will serve for three years. They began their service July 1 after attending the Mission Presidents Seminar.

Thomas Charles Fredrick, 63, Scotland Edinburgh Mission; Mount Olympus 8th Ward, Salt Lake Mount Olympus North Stake; former counselor in the stake presidency, bishop and counselor, branch president, high councilor, and Young Men president. CEO, Western Explosives Systems. Born in Superior, Wis., to Charles Otto and Ebba Martha Magnuson Fredrick. Married Barbara Fay Johnston, 11 children.

Sister Fredrick is a former counselor in a ward Relief Society presidency, counselor in a stake Young Women presidency, ward Young Women president and counselor, ward Primary president and counselor and ward chorister. Born in Superior, Wis., to Lawrence William and Helen Josephine Scheen Johnston.

Charlie Garcia Revillo, 37, Philippines Butuan Mission; Dagupan 2nd Ward, Dagupan Philippines Stake; former counselor in a stake presidency, stake mission president, stake Young Men president, counselor in a bishopric and missionary in the Philippines Bacolod Mission. Institute director and CES coordinator. Born in So. Cotabato, Philippines, to Carlos Condeno and Amparo Garcia Revillo. Married Pierne Me Penuliar Parayno, five children.

Sister Revillo is a former stake and ward Relief Society president, ward Primary president and counselor, stake music director and stake music chairman. Born in Dagupan, Philippines, to Bayani Bautista and Gloria Penuliar Parayno.

Cesar Augusto Seiguer Milder, 49, Brazil Cuiaba Mission; Guara II Ward, Brasilia Alvorada Stake; former Area Seventy, president of the Brazil Ribeirao Preto Mission, stake president, high councilor, bishop and missionary in the Brazil Sao Paulo South Mission. CES coordinator. Born in Uruguaiana, Brazil, to Eldio Milder Krunsel and Branca Flor Seiguer Milder. Married Maureen Daisy de Paula, three children.

Sister Milder, who served with her husband when he was mission president, is a former counselor in a stake Relief Society presidency, ward Relief Society president and counselor in a ward Primary presidency. Born in Curitiba, Brazil, to Leogin de and Antonia Ramos de Paula.

Nelson Lorell Bleak, 62, Marshall Islands Majuro Mission; Panaca 1st Ward, Panaca Nevada Stake; former stake president, bishop, stake Sunday School president, stake mission president and missionary in the Canadian Mission. Retired superintendent of schools. Born in Overton, Nev., to Nelson Church and Martha Elizabeth Hollinger Bleak. Married Terry Wadsworth, 11 children.

Sister Bleak is a former ward Relief Society president and counselor, Primary teacher and pianist, and stake Relief Society board member. Born in Cedar City, Utah, to Franklin Don and Sylvia Bitner Hinckley Wadsworth.
