Luz de Naciones (Light of the Nations) My Family. Mi Herencia

A musical production My Family. Mi Herencia. Featuring Luz de Las Naciones will be on Saturday, March 3, at 6 p.m. in the Conference Center on Temple Square.

The event will also be live streamed on lds.org/latino2018 in English, Spanish, and Portuguese.

Luz de Naciones, which means light of the nations, is an annual musical production celebrating cultures and stories from Latin America and featuring more than 1,000 people in the cast, including a youth and young adult choir, musicians, storytellers, and dance groups.

Instead of taking place during Christmastime, this year, the event coincides with the RootsTech family history and technology conference sponsored by FamilySearch.

Natalia Lafourcade sings the featured song “Remember Me” from Pixar studio’s animated 3-D movie Coco and is also featured in the official music video.

All interested persons are invited to attend this free, non-ticketed event. The production is multilingual and will be easily understood and enjoyed regardless of language.

The event will also be live streamed on lds.org/latino2018 in English, Spanish, and Portuguese.

Due to a scheduling conflict, Natalia Lafourcade will not be performing as previously announced.
