Four individuals were recognized by the Church at the 2018 Family Values Awards in Ghana for their contributions in promoting family values.
Grace Manu, host of a local television show, Comfort Bediako, founder of Virgin Kids Academy, Sheikh Yahaya Al-Amin, founder of the Islamic Foundation for Peace and Development, and Selikem Acolatse Apaloo, host of Women's Voice were all honored at the event.
"Upholding Family Values for a Stronger Nation" was the theme of the night.
Gifty Twum Ampofo, deputy minister for Gender, Children and Social Protection said "The three most important values we need to uphold are peace, love for each other and for the environment and community."
Elder Daniel Yirenya Tawiah, an Area Seventy, provided the closing remarks at the event.
