The young men and young women of the Marimba Zimbabwe Stake started off the month of April with a visit from President Russell M. Nelson in Harare. From there, the youth were able to continue to learn in spiritual environments as they attended Young Women camp and scout camp respectively.
For the young women who attended camp between April 18-20, there was a focus on the Personal Progress program and living a Christ-centered life.
The young men, who attended scout camp just a few days later during April 24-28, worked on completing Duty to God and talked about shunning worldly entertainment.
The owner of Vanilla Beach, where the Young Women camp was held, commented on Personal Progress and said "such programs should be practiced by all churches to groom and shape the women of tomorrow."
